Conçu et développé en Italie avec les outils numériques les plus avancés, le casque KX-1 a été soumis à des tests rigoureux par le pilote d'usine Ducati Corse, Enea Bastianini, afin de garantir ses performances au sommet de la discipline. Il bénéficie d'une aérodynamique de pointe pour réduire la traînée et maximiser les performances en course, grâce à plus de trois ans d'essais en soufflerie et sur piste visant à optimiser l'aérodynamisme dans diverses positions de conduite et angles d'inclinaison. Le KX-1 offre un champ de vision périphérique amélioré (92° et 210°) pour une vision sans obstruction, et répond à la norme FIM la plus exigeante. L'intérieur du KX-1 est doté d'une doublure expertement conçue avec des matériaux haut de gamme alliant forme et fonction.
Le casque de moto KX-1 Race GP est utilisé en MotoGP™ et en WorldSBK™, et continue d'être adopté par des pilotes de classe mondiale partout dans le monde.
CALOTTE
La calotte est fabriquée en fibre TRICOMPOSITE, un nouveau composite qui permet d'obtenir une coque plus légère, mais à la fois plus dure et plus protectrice.
Ce nouveau composite est un mélange de carbone avec différents rapports poids/résistance à la rupture, lié à des résines aramides qui assurent une coque légère mais beaucoup plus résistante aux impacts.
Le KX-1 Race GP est produit en trois tailles de calotte différentes : S, M et XL.

POLYSTYRÈNE DE PROTECTION
Doublure interne en polystyrène (EPS) disponible en trois tailles (S, M et XL) pour obtenir une meilleure ergonomie et une densité variable. Cette caractéristique permet une absorption graduelle et progressive de l'énergie produite par l'impact.
Même si la majeure partie de l'énergie créée par l'impact est absorbée par la coque externe grâce à sa déformation, le rôle du polystyrène est crucial pour l'absorption de l'énergie résiduelle.
La variation des densités du polystyrène permet d'optimiser les performances mécaniques de l'ensemble coque-polystyrène, assurant un niveau d'absorption maximal sur toutes les zones du casque.
VISIÈRE
La visière est injectée en polycarbonate, anti-rayures et d'épaisseur variable. Facile à retirer, son levier de dégagement est fabriqué dans un alliage métallique spécial qui confère une plus grande structure et une fermeture ferme à l'ensemble. La visière est également équipée d'un « Racing Lock System » en alliage métallique. Ce mécanisme réduit le risque de détachement en cas de chute. Les visières du KX-1 Race GP sont prédisposées pour le montage de tear-offs de course.

PINLOCK
Le KX-1 Race GP est compatible avec le PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, le système antibuée le plus performant du marché.
VENTILATION
C'est lors des Grands Prix les plus chauds que l'on demande le plus au pilote, exigeant concentration et endurance. Pouvoir compter sur une ventilation efficace fait toute la différence.
Le KX-1 Race GP intègre sept conduits d'admission d'air qui fonctionnent conjointement avec un système de canaux parfaitement intégré, garantissant un excellent flux d'air à l'intérieur du casque.
L'extraction de l'air chaud est une merveille d'aérodynamisme : deux extracteurs d'air submergés, travaillant de concert avec le spoiler arrière, créent un effet Venturi au-dessus des orifices d'échappement pour aspirer l'air chaud.
INTÉRIEURS
Les coussinets de joues et la doublure de confort interne peuvent être retirés, lavés et remplacés.
Ils sont fabriqués à partir d'un tissu haut de gamme aux fibres spécifiques offrant les caractéristiques suivantes :

WHAT IS KYT'S WARRANTY COVERAGE AND DURATION?
KYT Americas offers a three-year limited warranty from the date of purchase for the original buyer. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material issues but does not cover damage from accidents, modifications, normal wear and tear, or improper storage.
