Conçu et développé en Italie avec les outils numériques les plus avancés, le casque KX-1 a été soumis à des tests rigoureux par le pilote d'usine Ducati Corse, Enea Bastianini, afin de garantir ses performances au sommet de ce sport. Il bénéficie d'une aérodynamique de pointe pour réduire la traînée et assurer des performances de course optimales, grâce à plus de trois ans d'essais en soufflerie et sur piste visant à optimiser l'aérodynamisme dans diverses positions de conduite et angles d'inclinaison. Le KX-1 offre un champ de vision périphérique amélioré (92 degrés et 210 degrés) pour une vision sans obstruction, et répond aux normes FIM les plus strictes. L'intérieur du KX-1 est doté d'une doublure soigneusement conçue avec des matériaux haut de gamme qui allient forme et fonction.
Le casque KX-1 RACE est utilisé en MotoGP™ et continue d'être adopté par des pilotes de classe mondiale partout dans le monde.
CALOTTE
La calotte est fabriquée en fibre TRICOMPOSITE, un nouveau composite qui offre une coque plus légère tout en étant plus dure et plus protectrice.
Ce nouveau composite est un mélange de carbone avec différents rapports poids/résistance à la rupture, lié à des résines aramides qui assurent une coque légère mais beaucoup plus résistante aux impacts.
Le KX-1 RACE est produit en trois tailles de calottes différentes : S, M et XL.

POLYSTYRÈNE PROTECTEUR
Doublure interne en polystyrène (EPS) en trois tailles (S, M et XL) pour obtenir une meilleure ergonomie et une densité variable. Cette caractéristique permet une absorption graduelle et progressive de l'énergie produite par l'impact.
Même si la majeure partie de l'énergie créée par l'impact est absorbée par la coque externe, grâce à sa déformation, le rôle du polystyrène est crucial pour l'absorption de l'énergie résiduelle.
Les densités variables du polystyrène permettent d'optimiser les performances mécaniques du système coque-polystyrène, assurant le niveau maximal d'absorption sur toutes les zones du casque.
VISIÈRE
La visière est injectée en polycarbonate, anti-rayures, et possède une épaisseur variable. Facile à retirer. Le levier de dégagement est composé d'un alliage métallique spécial qui confère une structure plus robuste et une fermeture sécurisée à l'ensemble. La visière est également équipée d'un « Racing Lock System » en alliage métallique. Ce mécanisme réduit le risque de détachement en cas de chute. Les visières du KX-1 RACE sont préparées pour le montage de tear-offs de course.

PINLOCK
Le KX-1 RACE est compatible avec le PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120, le système antibuée le plus performant du marché.
VENTILATION
C'est lors des Grands Prix les plus chauds que l'on en demande le plus au pilote, exigeant concentration et endurance. Pouvoir compter sur une ventilation efficace fait toute la différence.
Le KX-1 RACE comprend sept conduits d'admission d'air qui fonctionnent en conjonction avec un système de canaux parfaitement intégré, garantissant une excellente circulation de l'air à l'intérieur du casque.
L'extraction de l'air chaud est une merveille d'aérodynamisme : deux extracteurs d'air immergés, travaillant conjointement avec le spoiler arrière, créent un effet Venturi au-dessus des ports d'échappement, aspirant ainsi l'air chaud.
INTÉRIEUR
Les coussinets de joues et la doublure de confort interne peuvent être retirés, lavés et remplacés.
Ils sont fabriqués dans un tissu de qualité supérieure avec des fibres spécifiques offrant les caractéristiques suivantes :

- Maintient au frais et au sec
- Tissu léger, doux et respirant
Les coussinets de joues sont personnalisables et facilement amovibles en cas d'urgence grâce au système de dégagement rapide.

Cheek pads and internal shell are washable.

Inners are made of fine Hydrocool fabric, that allows rapid heat dissipation and maintains a pleasant feeling of cool and dry.

Visor Features
The visor is in optical class 1 and guarantees a wide peripheral and vertical field of vision, 210° and 90° respectively. The visor is easily removable, thanks to a practical mechanism that doesn’t require any tool.

The release lever is made of a particular light metal alloy that gives greater solidity to the assembly.

WHAT IS KYT'S WARRANTY COVERAGE AND DURATION?
KYT Americas offers a three-year limited warranty from the date of purchase for the original buyer. This warranty covers manufacturing defects and material issues but does not cover damage from accidents, modifications, normal wear and tear, or improper storage. To claim warranty service, you'll need to provide your proof of purchase and return the helmet to your original dealer.
HOW DO I FIND MY CORRECT KYT HELMET SIZE?
You can determine your proper size by consulting the sizing chart in each product's information section. For the most accurate fit, measure your head circumference at the widest point above your eyebrows and around the back of your head.
ARE KYT HELMET VISORS REPLACEABLE AND PINLOCK COMPATIBLE?
