KYT stars McGuinness, Todd and Murray primed for the 2025 Isle of Man TT

In the world of motorsport, the Isle of Man TT is often called The Greatest Show on Earth. It’s a two-week festival of motorcycle racing like no other. Run over a 37.73 mile circuit of real roads, riders hit speeds of more than 200 mph as they rip through towns, villages and up over the Snaefell Mountain. There is no tougher test of man and machine on Planet Earth.

Widely known simply as the ‘TT’, the event has a history dating all the way back to 1904, and KYT’s British pairing for 2025 have already engraved themselves into that history. The name John McGuiness is synonymous with the event. Incredibly, his first TT was in 1996, since when he has gone on to claim 23 winners’ trophies. As well as earning true legend status for his racing achievements, John’s wry sense of humor and straight-talking style have helped him to amass millions of fans across the world.

Davey Todd’s TT history is somewhat shorter, but nothing short of electrifying. In 2024, the 29-year-old from North Yorkshire, England, made his mark by winning the Senior and Superstock TTs as well as the British Superstock 1000 championship. And, in the 2025 international road racing season opener at the beginning of May, Davey put himself at the very top of the TT form book by taking one Superstock and two Superbike wins at the North West 200.

Joining the Brits in KYT’s lineup is Arizona’s Pete Murray. Americans are rare at the TT, but this is Pete’s 14th visit to the Isle of Man. A real ‘racer’s racer’, he has racked up a bunch of top 30 finishes at the TT, and also had great results in the Classic TT and Manx Grand Prix.

Whether you’re on the island or watching on screen, the KYT men will be easy to spot. John is on board for Honda Racing UK in the Superbike, Senior and Superstock races, while Davey goes for 8Ten Racing BMW Motorrad in the same classes, plus the Supersport TT, which sees him on a Honda for Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles. Pete meanwhile, goes in the blue and orange livery of long-term backer VRS Racing.

The 2025 Isle of Man TT kicks off with practice and qualifying week from Monday May 26. Racing starts on Saturday May 31 and reaches its climax with the Senior TT on Saturday June 7.
